Worth M. Saunders, M.H.A., FACHE, FRBMA serves as Chief Executive Officer of Canopy Partners. Worth has over 25 years of experience in physician services, technology/BPO services leadership and new business development. He previously served as Chief Administrative Officer for Mid-South Imaging & Therapeutics, PA., a large sub-specialized radiology practice based in Memphis, TN. He was the Regional Vice President of Operations Central Region at Radiologix, Inc. (now part of Radnet), a publicly traded radiology services company based in Dallas, Texas. In addition, Worth is a fellow in the RBMA and ACHE and served multiple terms on the RBMA Board. He has previously served as Chair of the RBMA Payor Relations Committee. Worth's educational background includes a Master of Healthcare Administration from the Medical College of Virginia and a BA in Russian Studies and International Relations from the University of Virginia.
Stephen Willis serves as CTO of Canopy Partners. Stephen has over 19 years experience in IT, with 12 of those years in the healthcare IT management across multiple disciplines. He previously served as CIO and Lead Systems Administrator for Greensboro Radiology and IT Manager for Physician's Medical Enterprises. Stephen serves on numerous committees including the CIO Expert Panel for the McDowell Research Center for Global IT Management, and as a designing contributor to the Community Care of North Carolina's effort to implement clinical decision support across the State. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Wake Forest University.
Reed Humphrey serves as the Vice President of Business Development for Canopy Partners. He is responsible for new business growth, marketing and strategic partnerships. Reed has 25 years of experience in technology services, and has led business development at three successful start-up ventures. During his tenure with Canopy Partners the company has experienced rapid growth, becoming one of the 15 fastest growing companies in Central NC and being named to the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest growing private companies for three consecutive years. Reed holds a Master's degree in Broadcast Communications from the University of Tennessee, and a BA in Mass Communications from North Carolina State University.
Sid Brownsey serves as the Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management for Canopy Partners. He has held this position since April 2016. He is responsible for the oversight of all RCM functions for Canopy Partners. With over 20 years of healthcare experience, the majority of his career has been with Medical Management Professionals, providing 13 years of billing and practice management services for hospital based physician groups. He has worked for BCBS of Tennessee and CIGNA Healthcare in claims and customer service. He was appointed CEO of Gainesville Radiology Group from 2007 until 2013. Before joining Canopy Partners, he started a billing operation for an EHR company from 2014-2015. Sid holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Management.
Simon Howarth serves as Director of Finance of Canopy Partners. Simon, a native of Great Britain, is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and Association of Corporate Treasurers and has over 30 years experience in various financial management roles. He worked and qualified with KPMG in London, UK followed by roles at AstraZeneca PLC and Syngenta AG in the UK and Switzerland. Simon and his family have resided in Greensboro for the past six years.
Kim Sisk, PHR-SHRM-CP, serves as the Director of HR/Credentialing for Canopy Partners, which offers credentialing, human resources and management services to physician practices. Kim has 18 years of experience within the healthcare industry in Credentialing and Human Resources. Experience includes creating compensation guidebook, employee handbook, benefit administration, credentialing new physician and locations with payers and obtaining hospital privileges for new physicians. Kim has been a member of Society of Human Resource Management and Human Resource Management Association of Greensboro since 2009. She also holds the national certification of PHR (Professional in Human Resources).
Kris Nagel serves as the Director of the Program Management Office (PMO) for Canopy Partners. He provides executive oversight and leadership for all aspects of project, program, and portfolio management. Kris has 19 years of experience in healthcare and technology services with a focus in product development, delivery and systems integration. He has lead numerous large scale product and program initiatives for Eclipsys, Allscripts, and Cancer Treatment Centers of America. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Kennesaw State University.
Jim Wrather serves as Director of IT Operations of Canopy Partners. Jim is responsible for the Clinical Systems teams, Canopy’s infrastructure and data centers, the Canopy Partners Service Desk and support functions, as well as the Radiology Concierge Service Desk. Jim is an experienced IT professional with prior roles as a CIO, VP of professional services and VP of software development. Most recently before coming to Canopy Partners, Jim worked in senior leadership roles at Proficient Health and Apex Analytix. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Clemson University.
